PLEASE NOTE: General Admission for the Air Show is free and does not require a ticket. There are a limited number of Premium seats available for purchase while supplies last. Every vehicle parking at the show is also required to obtain a free or paid parking pass in advance of the show.
Frequently Asked Questions

The event will take place rain or shine. Flight schedules may be adjusted to accommodate weather conditions. If flying is delayed due to weather, there are lots of static aircraft, STEM, and ground displays to experience until flying resumes.
There are no refunds or rain checks. All sales are final.
Yes. Both Saturday and Sunday will feature the same lineup of incredible aerial performers.

No. Please ensure you have purchased a ticket for the Saturday show if you’d like to attend Saturday, and a Sunday ticket if you’d like to attend Sunday. Tickets are non-transferable.

You can, but no. To keep lines moving at a fast pace, please have a printed ticket in hand ready for scanning upon arrival. If you do not have a printer, you may display the tickets on a phone for scanning. We recommend taking a screenshot of the tickets ahead of time, as internet availability at the show cannot be guaranteed.
Great question! For your best air show experience we would suggest:
- A great attitude and a love for all things aviation related!
- Very comfortable shoes, there will be walking
- Sunscreen
- Comfortable clothing for a sunny day
- Ear protection for the kids (ear plugs, etc)
- Sunglasses
- Your camera (minus the bulky camera bag or long lens – 12” limit on camera and lens)
- Something to sit on (blanket, lawn chair, stroller/wagon for the kiddos)
- Money for the midway/food/drinks/souvenirs
- A fully charged phone for photos and videos to capture a lifetime memory
- Water container (not glass). Fill stations for personal water containers will be available at no charges
- Strollers and wagons are allowed but Thunder Over New Hampshire security personnel reserve the right to turn-away oversized carriages if we can’t properly inspect them for safety and security reasons!
Umbrellas are not permitted as to not obstruct the views of other guests. VIP guests may use the adjacent chalets to escape the sun and General Admission guests may enter their vehicles to cool off.
Weapons of any type to include; any firearm/weapon capable of launching a projectile (including signal guns and sling shots), all knives with a blade over 3” long, switch and spring bladed, stiletto, trench, machetes, straight razors, throwing stars, nunchakus, sand and blackjack club weapons, batons, and metal knuckles
- Illegal drugs and alcoholic beverages
- Flammable liquids, explosive materials, or fireworks of any kind
- Smoking materials and Vaping devices (smoking and vaping is prohibited in the show area)
- Animals or pets, other than service animals
- Laser pointers
- Bicycles, scooters, skates, skateboards, wheeled shoes, or Segway style human transporters
- Large backpacks, bags, and purses
- Coolers
- Drone aircraft or any type of propelled item capable of being airborne
- Glass containers and cans
- Canopies, tents, or large umbrellas
- Camera lenses longer than 12 inches (extended)
All prohibited items found upon inspection at the entry control points will warrant entry to be denied. Instructions will be provided to secure the prohibited items in the individual’s personally owned vehicle, unless prohibited items warrant law enforcement response. Individuals will be inspected again, upon attempt to enter the air show at the entry control point.
Airshow attendees are strictly prohibited from engaging in political activity; demonstrations or protests; or any activity considered detrimental to health, safety, and welfare of persons on the installation. Violators may be ejected from the base and barred from future entry.
Absolutely! Access is not restricted at all.
Motorized scooters and wheelchairs for disabled patrons are allowed in the air show grounds. Personal golf carts are NOT allowed. Please be aware that the crowds may be heavy, maneuvering may be difficult, and that there is no place at the show to plug in and recharge.
Unfortunately, no. For everyone’s safety you will need to bring the party elsewhere. No camping is permitted. This includes tailgates and setting up chairs in the parking lot to watch the air show.
No. Pease Air National Guard Base is a smoke free and vape-free venue. Any guests found smoking or vaping on the grounds will be asked to leave.
No, marijuana in any form is prohibited. Leave all smoking paraphernalia in your car to avoid confiscation at the gates.
Yes. While not required, it is recommended guests bring ear protection for everyone. The aerial performance teams and other demonstrations create lots of loud noises, so please plan accordingly.
No. Unless a registered service animal, pets are not allowed into the venue. Sorry.
Yes. Both the General Admission and VIP area will have portable restrooms available in addition to ADA accessible units.
So much food! We have a nationally recognized food company handling all the general admission concessions. There will be alcoholic beverages available for purchase if you can prove you are 21 or older.
Yes, but plan ahead! Please note that the aerial performances run from each day from approximately 12:00pm until 4:00pm.
Kinda. The logistics of parking, then leaving, and then coming back will result in significant delays and lead to you not having a good time. We want everyone to have a good time, so we don’t suggest it.
You must vacate the lot as soon as possible after the conclusion of the show. Cars left in the lot more than one hour after the lot clears may be towed at owner's expense.
Yes! Do not plan to be on McIntyre Road at all when the air show is occurring due to safety setbacks for low flying aircraft.
In the all parking lots, motorcycles will be parked just like any other vehicle and will require a parking pass.
All sales are final. In the event of performer illness, inclement weather, or technical issues, there will not be a refund or exchange given.
Early! Gates open at 9:00AM. Patriot Plaza Presented by Service Credit Union, Static displays exhibits, ground displays, vendors and concessions will be available around 9:30AM. The National Anthem will be at high noon. Performers will start immediately after that and continue until about 4:00PM. We suggest arriving in plenty of time before the performances are scheduled to begin. There WILL be traffic so don’t cut it close.
Yes! Volunteers get free parking! Sign up to be a part of the action!!
Bikes, ride shares and pedestrians can all use the Pease Terminal Lot to access the show through the South Gate Entrance. There will be bike parking available at the terminal, no bikes are allowed on the ramp or past the gates.
Cards will be accepted however bringing cash will mitigate any connection issues. Having cash may also allow you to get your food faster, hotter and fresher than your friends.
Please check the lost and found. Any items not claimed from the lost and found at the end of the weekend will be discarded.
Yes! There will be a parent tent located on the south ramp.
Yes there will be lactation space available in the parent and baby tent located on the south ramp!
No. There will be no transportation. Mobility restricted parking is limited so plan on getting to your parking space early!
There are 52 acres of static displays and STEAM exhibits on top of Air Show fun. Please expect to be on the move in order to enjoy everything Thunder Over NH has to offer!
